From nine to 3, more than 1000 dresses were on display in the course of the eighth annual Cinderella Project, hosted by Louisiana University at Lafayette’s AmeriCorps.

Adamson said a prom average price dress could range from $ 200 to $ 400, that doesn’t comprise accessories like shoes and jewelry.

Besides dress alterations and private shoppers, such accessories were all free part package for students with a valid school ID.

So dresses were reachable on a first come, firstserved basis, and AmeriCorps volunteers provided minor ‘onthespot’ alterations.
